Each June, thanks to a wonderful committee and sponsors, we host the Annual Benefit Dinner Gala. It’s a fabulous dinner with great food, drinks and entertainment. This past year, our theme was “Wonders of The World” at Yerkes Observatory. We auctioned off several “Wonder”ful packages such as heliskiing in Utah, wonders of Wisconsin, animal trainer for a day, week in Alaska and more. The most successful event of the evening was the “Adopt-A-Camper.” Thanks to many extremely generous people, the event raised over $100,000 for camp. Keep your calendars marked for next years benefit dinner on June 14, 2008. The committee is working hard to make next years benefit more exciting and successful than ever!
Old Bags Luncheon
To end a great summer, we host the annual Old Bags Luncheon. This year over 230 ladies gathered at the Lake Geneva Country Club to bid 190 purses. The women enjoyed lunch, wine and a raffle. Thanks to Kristen Freytag and her committee, this years Old Bags Luncheon was the most successful to date. We look forward to another year of fabulous purses! August 15th, 2008 will be the date for next year!
