The Founders Society

The Founders of Holiday Home Camp were primarily the prominent families from both Chicago and the Geneva Lake community. These men and women saw a social need and accepted the challenge to give of their time, money and energy to establish a healing place for less fortunate. As a result of their vision, dedication, and philanthropy, thousands of children from the urban environment have had their lives enriched, and their hope for a better tomorrow strengthened. For over a century, many families and organizations have dedicated themselves to the preservation of Holiday Home Camp. As we move forward in the twenty-first century, Holiday Home Camp has in place a society designed to carry on with the tradition established by our original Founders, which is meeting a social need that is as great, if not greater, than when Holiday Home Camp was founded. Today, dedicated to the preservation and integrity of Holiday Home Camp, the Founders Society seeks members who recognize the value and benefits of its operation. To become a member of the Founders Society, we ask that you contribute $1,000 or more annually to Holiday Home Camp. The use of these funds for the betterment of Holiday Home Camp, whether it be for capital improvements or for the development of new camp programs for youth.
